Description:

Kro's Nest has opened it's second venue, this one more accessible in Sanlitun, located near the Bookworm and Ole. You'll find a tiny no-smoking region and a massive smoke-filled area for those hoping for lung cancer.

The pizzas are so big that it takes at least two giants to eat one. And the drinks, similarly over-sized, are enough to fill even a starving stomach. There is a decent menu of appetizers, snacks and desserts as well as a decent beer list.

The decor is worth the visit alone. Vinyl couches, spray painted walls, flashing lights and loads of TVs showing sports. The staff are friendly and well-trained. Anything you need in English or Chinese is available and Kro Bauer, the owner, is on hand to answer questions or resolve conflicts.

While there may be better pizza in town, there certainly isn't a better bang for the buck in terms of quantity and authenticity.
