Though most will tell you that since the end of the recent protest conflicts in Bangkok traveling to Bangkok has pretty much returned to normal, many from the world outside Thailand may not be getting that message. Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has the challenge to get the word out. Thus, we have Smile @ Ratchaprasong, a three-day music festival outside Central World in the heart of Bangkok.

From six to midnight each evening you can catch concerts and a return to the general good feeling of the Land of Smiles. It’s fun and it’s free but TAT has another way to make you smile. How about some baht for your best Bangkok photo?

Show some Bangkok love and enter one of your Bangkok travel photos in TAT’s new photo contest, Smile@Ratchaprasong. Search through those Bangkok shots for something that captures the essence of the City of Angels. Winners are announced July 4, so you need to hurry! More info here. And get yourself down to Ratchaprasong for some good tunes and good times.
