The Second Annual Suk 11 Thai Zombie Walk is coming up Saturday, October 16 as part of Bangkok’s festive Halloween mood. The event is organized by Bangkok Haunts with sponsorship from Bacardi, the Sukhumvit Soi 11 Association, and the Lotus Flower Foundation.

Meet at the fountains and steps of Siam Paragon at 5 p.m. Zombies do not fear rain, so come no matter what. At 5:20 the undead will ride tuk tuks of death along Sukhumvit Road to Soi 11 where the actual walking part (or dragging of one lame leg if you prefer) will begin. Expect it to last about 30-45 minutes after which time all participating corpses may realize they are in Soi 11 — home of such drinking establishments as Cheap Charlie’s, Bed Supper Club, and Q Bar. Hours later expect another sort of less organized shuffling zombie walk out to the Skytrain, tuk tuks and taxis. Or just crash at Suk11 Guest House. Whatever. Go get your rot on.
