How Not To Be Bored During a Layover

If you have a long layover and fly into Edinburgh airport and don’t fancy making your way into Edinburgh city centre then why not take a trip to the nearby historic village of South Queensferry. Located just a short ride from the airport, you will find lots of quaint cafes several local bars and a choice of restaurants.

You can also take a nice walk along the high street over looking the Firth of Forth where you will see the best view of one of Scotland most iconic landmarks – the Forth Bridge. The best way to get there from the airport would be by taxi and you will avoid all the city centre traffic.

If you fancy going somewhere closer then hop on the airport bus and hop off a few stops later and go to Edinburgh Zoo.

Awesome blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Thank you!
