Two happy hours per day at the Yardhouse Waikiki, makes people happy

The Yardhouse Waikiki, a centrally located large bar and restaurant with a huge amount of beers on tap, offers happy hour twice a day, most days of the week. Ever Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., the Yardhouse offers happy hour. In the spirit of enjoying balmy late nights in Waikiki, the drinking hole also offers a late night happy hour Sunday through Wednesdays from 10:30 to closing, which is usually 1 a.m. or later.

Now, I personally love the Yardhouse. They have an amazing array of great beer on tap, really good bar food with a Pacific flair, and good surf videos or other sports on large flat screen TVs. It’s a good place to start, or end the night since it is right smack in the middle of shopping, other restaurants, and very close to the beach. Since it’s very close to a lot of Waikiki hotels, it eliminates the need to drive, and is close enough to catch a taxi to the slightly farther ones.

Over 100 beers at the Yardhouse

At the Yardhouse guests have the option of over 100 beers, and can enjoy their beer from a half yard glass (yep, that’s a big beer), a pint, or a six pack sampler. A personal favorite is the Young’s Chocolate Stout. It’s just about as smooth as Guinness, with a hint of chocolate but not sweet.

This place seems to be hands down the best place in town for beer selection, and the happy hour deals beat a lot of other places. Catch the sunset on Waikiki Beach nearby either after the first happy hour or well before the second.
