Pop Up Summer Nightlife: Salon D’Été

Nightlife, What's New — By Erin Gallagher Maury on July 30, 2010 at 2:36 am
London’s pop up nightlife scene just got a little hotter & sexier with the resurfacing of cabaret bar Salon d’Été  in Mayfair. Tucked in underneath a glamorous jungle of greenery on Duke Street at L’Equipe Anglaise near Bond Street Tube Station is a masterful kitchen jazz and live music venue. Visionary Edward Saperia (who moonlights as a filmaker/banker/steampunk musician) only has the space through September 5th in true pop up fashion.
Salon d’Été offers a carefully crafted French-Vietnamese vintage dining experience inspired by chefs Lauren Zilahy and Will Sprunt and quickly lures the crowd into forgetting the sounds of London with live sultry jazz, vintage swing and burlesque performances. As the cocktails flow the audience becomes part of the show and dreaming of 1940s summer Moroccan nights.

21 Duke Street
8pm-1am, Fridays & Saturdays
until September 5th
