JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa is taking San Antonio to a whole new level. The resort opened in January and offers a 26,000 square foot spa; a PGA TOUR Tournament Players Club championship golf course; 600 acres of space for roaming, biking and hiking; custom designed rooms and a mini water park.

The resort is 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio and sits in the Texas Hill Country and Cibolo Canyon. Accommodations include 1,002 rooms (85 suites) which feature spacious areas, custom designed furniture and luxury bathrooms. Staying in the room at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort might feel like a good idea, but guests can’t seem to resist what the resort has to offer.

The spa offers 30 treatment rooms, two outdoor private treatment rooms, a complete fitness center and a private, lagoon-type pool. If a calming pool is not your thing, the resort offers a 650-foot rapid river ride, slides and a 1,100 foot long lazy river. Children’s pools, an adult pool and an activity pool provide a variety of water experiences. All-in-all, the River Bluff Water Experience offers six acres of pools, fountains, waterfalls, rivers and poolside lounges with food and drink services available.

The resort also offers comprehensive dining with seven different restaurants. Cibolo Moon and 18 Oaks, two of the dining selections, offer creative menus featuring fresh, organic ingredients. Authentic Texas cuisine can also be found on the premises, along with Texas hospitality

For those choosing the resort as a meeting place, the grounds provide over 140,000 square feet of customizable indoor space. The event and convention space includes a Grand Ballroom, Exhibit Hall and Junior Ballroom with large lobby space. Three outdoor venues provide ideal space for events with the gorgeous Hill Country as a backdrop.
