Stepping inside the Usaquen branch of 14 Inkas, you'd be forgiven for mistaking this Peruvian restaurant for an Oriental fusion one. But then, that's the point, Peruvian cuisine and Oriental cuisine have been blended over time and this of course has created a mouthwatering and delicate menu. There are all of the staples, I strongly recommend starting with some
ceviche, be it the
tipico or
a la piedra to whet your appetite for further delicacies such as a seafood
jalea or something more fused such as a
chifa or
chaufa, complete with oriental rice or noodles. And after all this if you've still got a appetite, try the
chocolucuma, a delicious blend of chocolate and the most Peruvian of fruits, the
lucuma!
