NileGuide Expert tip:
Call for reservations unless you want to sit at the Chef's Table, those can be made online.
O Ya's location is deceptive, located in a 100-year-old fire station in Boston's Leather District, O Ya is a contemporary Japanese restaurant, serving some of Boston's most sought after sushi. But you'll pay for it. The popular Omasake (Chef's tasting menu) is $150, and the a la carte selections quickly add up as well. Intimate, with only 37-seats total (including the 17 seat che'f table where guests can watch as the chef prepares the cuisine), it is no wonder this is one difficult reservation to score. But those who plan far enough in advance are rewarded by the sushi samplings served here.
