NileGuide Expert Says:
If you’re after local goods and a real Hungarian atmosphere, this is your place; the two-story market hall has an endless selection of fruits, veggies and meat on the bottom floor from private farmers and butchers around the county, and food stalls with authentic Hungarian foods including paprikas, langos and sausages on the second floor. The restaurant Fakanal is also located on the top floor, plus countless souvenir stands selling everything from the cliché T-shirts with “Budapest” written on them to real hand-made embroideries and the famous national spice, the Paprika. Definitely a must see!
