"As far as I'm concerned the "must-sees" in Budapest are (in no particular order, but in proximity to each other: Castle District (Matthias Church, Halászbástya, Buda Castle) Heroes' Square, City Park Inner City (Gerbeaud's, Váci St) Parlament Opera House, Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Egyetem (Liszt Music Academy) Central Market Hall Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest Try to do a Daube Cruise for an hour, leaves from the Inner City it's inexpensive and a great way to see the Buda and Pest sides of the city with the bridges (yes, Budapest is made up of two cities Buda and Pest divided by the Danube River"  See More
