  • Those who love the active lifestyle will find plenty of challenging adventures waiting for them in Los Cabos. The area has been naturally blessed, both with our abundant marine life and inland wonders like the Sierra de la Laguna biosphere. Whether you like snorkeling, diving, driving, fishing, sailing, hiking, golfing, or zip-lining, expect to have the time of your life here.

Cabo Adventures will take care of your adrenaline fix, with a zip-line tour of the UNESCO protected Boca de Sierra biosphere. Let gravity and a pulley system give you the ride of your life. Next, join Amigos del Mar for a trip to magical Cabo Pulmo, which boasts one of the only living coral reefs in North America. Dive in an underwater wonderland with the highest concentration of marine life of anywhere in the Sea of Cortez. And, if you like diving with sharks, how about swimming with some whale sharks in the Bahia La Paz? Here's a hint...they swim fast, and so will you if you want to keep up.

Only six places in the world make multi-million dollar America's Cup yachts available to the general public, and only one is on the Mexican Riviera. Help race these boats by grinding the sails and following orders from the elite crew. After racing the most advanced boats in existence, try sailing aboard the oldest boat in Mexico. The topsail schooner Sunderland was built in 1886, and offers incredible tours of Bahia San Lucas.

Head north to Migrino for dune buggy racing, or stay in the bay for a little marlin fishing. The local waters are also filled with tuna and dorado for big-game anglers. But the best activity for the whole family is undoubtedly swimming with dolphins at the Cabo Dolphin Center. These delightful creatures are intelligent and extroverted, and would love to have you join them in the water.

Golfers have a host of options, with many of the local links designed by Jack Nicklaus, who has made a second career out of Los Cabos alone. Perhaps the best is the Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol, which many locals refer to as the "Mexican Pebble Beach." This spectacular course is not to be missed by serious golfers.
