NileGuide Expert tip:

The caesar salad is the best on the planet, and is made french style at your table. Do not leave here without trying it.

Description:

Old world Tuscan-style decor and handmade pizzas are the hallmarks of this popular local restaurant. Their caesar salad is, by local acclamation, world-class. It is assembled french style by your table. The menu is gargantuan and slightly overwhelming. The prices are in pesos, so the budgetary minded should not immediately panic, although this is not a cheap restaurant by any means, and you can easily pay 100 USD per person or more for a five course meal and a couple glasses of wine. The pizzas here are made in a mesquite wood oven, and are great. They are 10-15 USD and a good option for those who would like to enjoy the atmosphere at a reasonable price. The house pizza is made with ham, mushroom, salami, green pepper, and onion. Romeo y Julieta has an extensive menu of wines by the bottle, but by the glass selections are rather limited: four whites and four reds, and the inclusion of a California white zinfandel does them little credit in the eyes of local oenophiles. They have ample seating here, and can easily handle large parties.
