If you're sick of house music and looking for a more alternative crowd, you'll find good people and good music at Supersonic. This discoteca is part of a row of popular clubs on La Punta de San Felipe, a beautiful stretch of the Cádiz peninsula that extends into the Bay of Cádiz. Supersonic attracts an unpretentious crowd that knows how to break it down to rock and roll, funk, punk, oldies, and poppy indie hits. On any given night, you'll hear the likes of Al Green, George Clinton, The Ting Tings, MGMT, and maybe even a little Lou Reed. The bouncers are non-judgmental; this club isn't about exclusivity—it's about music. Always bursting with energy, this is one of the most popular after-hours dancing spots on the weekends, when it starts filling up around 3am. Entry fee is 10€ or less, and it's usually only charged for concerts and special events. Beer 2€, Mixed Drinks 5€.
