Jeddah Tower, Ismail Mohammed Street
Café Noir is a slick and modern café on Zamalek, with deep brown tables, coffee and cream coloured seats, and walls to match. Set over two floors, it's light and spacious, and the entire bottom floor is no-smoking! Although Café Noir is billed as a coffee shop, the menu is actually more extensive than most restaurants! There is a huge selection of western style food, including soups, salads, pasta, sandwiches, meat and fish mains, and tantalising desserts. The service is professional, efficient, and friendly, and the food is excellent. If you don't want a full meal, at least try the chocolate brownies: moist and nutty, with a lattice of hot, bitter chocolate sauce, they are divine! Café Noir is a far cry from being an "Egyptian" experience. It is, however, a very pleasant place to while away an hour or so with some coffee and cake, or perhaps a bigger meal. Café Noir also has Wi-Fi connection.
