Engineered Air is a company in Calgary, and they are the sponsor of the Engineered Air Theater, which is part of the EPCOR Center. This theater incorporates a number of reclaimed pieces from the original Empress Theater, which stood near this location dating back to 1911. The Empress was a vaudeville house. Nowadays, the Empress' balcony completes the modern but beautiful look of the Engineered Air Theater. This is a relatively small theater with enough room for up to 185 guests with a flexible seating arrangement, making it a venue for a wide variety of uses.
