Splash! is a great little restaurant, located right next to the entrance for Basic Cancun nightclub and across the street from Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand resort. The restaurant serves seafood, pasta, and some Mexican food. The prices are quite reasonable and the dining area is beautiful. The open-air restaurant is right on the Nichupte lagoon and there are plants and trees through the dining room. There is even a stream and a few small bridges running through the restaurant. There is a full bar upstairs and the dining area is downstairs, right by the water. This is a good option for an inexpensive, yet romantic meal on the water. It is also an ideal place to have a drink and watch the sunset over the lagoon.Open daily for lunch and dinner (weather permitting). Since the restaurant is entirely open-air, they do not open if the weather is bad.
