This place doesn't settle for second; you'll be eating the most expertly prepared food taken to new levels thanks to imaginative twists on flavor combinations. Dishes like albacore paired with grilled persimmon, Kobe strip loin atop an arugula puree, or blue nose bass wrapped in applewood smoked bacon, are truly one in a million.
The view at Pacific's Edge, located the Highlands Inn in Carmel, is breathtaking (it just so happened that the restaurant won a spot on USA Today's Top 10 Restaurants with a View in 2006).
