Vegan and vegetarians have no fear, Bon is here
In a town where Thai restaurants don't often dare to be different, Bon Kitchen Restaurant stands out from the crowd. The food at Bon Kitchen is best described as a fusion of East and West, with a focus on nutritious ingredients and presentation. The owner, Bon, has succeeded in successfully melding flavors you wouldn't expect without going too far and making you feel like a crash test dummy. The smoothies here are a highlight, where combinations such as yoghurt, watermelon and ginger, work surprisingly well. The tofu salad is worth trying, as is the delicious porridge. The quality of the ingredients is a priority at Bon Kitchen, wherever possible Bon will use organic produce and MSG is out. As Bon says on the restaurant's Facebook page "My number one priority is to make & serve delicious food. There's no extra profit in using higher quality ingredients, but I prefer building my business this way". So far it has been a sound strategy and this little restaurant has a very good reputation.
