This South Side coffee shop was founded in a spirit of partnership. Helmed by Mike Pilkington, the cafe and retail location quickly became so popular that they swiftly opened their wholesale roastery just a mile down the road where they roast there own beans. The partners use organic and fair trade products, and they have direct relationships with growers around the world. Their corner location once housed a pharmacy, but today, Bridgeport Coffee Company boasts its own artisinal bean blends and single origin roasts. BCC is also extremely active in their community, and the baristas try to learn everyone's name. You'll feel right at home!
