The Armida Hotel is a modern hotel and yet the property has an Old Mexico feel to it with arched walkways and tropical gardens surrounding the large swimming pool.Besides the restful, shaded swimming pool area, the Armida also has a gym. And, they offer a full business center with internet along with conference areas.
The different rooms can be viewed on their website and they are clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful. They work with a formal and respectful attitude towards the guests to ensure that you are satisfied with your visit. The hotel offers room service.
The Armida Hotel can be considered a downtown hotel; although technically they are about 5 minutes from the main, city downtown. It is on the main highway which is very busy! Traveling around Guaymas n general can be a bit overwhelming with buses and taxis and tons of local traffic.
The Oeste Restaurant on the property is a well-known and popular steakhouse, famous for excellent cuts of beef. "El Jardin" Coffee Shop has a unbelievable breakfast buffet each morning which is a family favorite!
