Description:
Situated in Coconut Grove, this state historic site sits on the scenic Biscayne Bay and shares the past of 19th century pioneer Commodore Ralph Middleton Munroe. Yoga lovers can participate in Wednesday night Yoga by the Sea from 6 to 7:30pm. Munroe was a nature-lover, activist and photographer who built this home in 1891 and preserved the land as naturally as possible, which is part of the goal of The Barnacle's staff today through education.
