MS Stubnitz was once an East-German Fishtrawler before an imaginative young team decided to use the ship as a transportable clubbing/culture venue. The boat has been docked in Århus, Amsterdam and Rostock, but can often be found docked under the Langebro Bridge on Copenhagen's waterfront. It is crewed by 12-30 members, but can cram them in for its legendary parties that include film screenings, art showings, concerts and DJs as well as a bar onboard. One of its most active times is during July's annual Jazz Festival, when the boat plays host to a number of experimental jazz concerts and club nights hosted by Jazz Club Loco.
