Description:

Local restaurateurs 'the Olsen Boys' Jakob Blom and Christian Willumsen opened Copenhagen's latest gastro pub in 2010 in this enviable canalside location, with views over to Christiansborg. B&W stands both for the initials of the owners as well as for 'bistro and wine', and this fancy eatery mixes the pub characteristics of table football, soccer on the TV and a good pint of beer with gourmet three-course menus (DKK 275) and a selection of fine wines; though you shouldn't expect the pub atmosphere to feel like your local. Lunch is a choice between traditional open sandwiches (though with a fresh new makeover) the house burger or fish and chips, while the lengthy drinks menu includes a selection of wines as well as a variety of Danish beers from large as well as smaller breweries. As a courtesy to K-Bar across the road, B&W does not serve cocktails. Reserve your table in advance or wait at the bar until one becomes available.
