This rather stylish bar-restaurant can be found at the edge of
Assistens Cemetery and is considerably more upmarket than one might first expect of this quarter. Bodega opened in 2006, and has managed to find success where other similar attempts at opening a smart bar-restaurant have failed. Serving quite high-priced cafe food during the day, Bodega is both a smart restaurant offering two and three course evening meals for the very reasonable price of DKK 200/250 respectively, and a cocktail bar with live DJs from 10pm on weekend nights. Dishes include rabbit terrine and braised squid; a healthy brunch is offered daily from 10am until 2pm. The place is particularly pleasant on late afternoons in the summertime, when the sun is just perfect.
