It's a bit of a way out of the city, but this neighborhood lunchtime cafe has made quite a name for itself for its cheap yet impeccable lunches. Despite the name, the seemingly simple food here is made from the freshest, quality ingredients and the place has a very loyal following. The brunch, served until 3.30pm, is particularly popular, and comes in three sizes (from DKK 62- DKK 125) as well as a vegetarian edition. Note that Canteen doesn't take reservations, so come early to make sure of a table: Or get your sandwich/salad in a to go version.
