The latest takeout stand at the gourmet market Torvehallerne on Israels Plads calls itself 'Primal Gastronomy', a term that takes its inspiration from 1,000 years ago. The organic kitchen offers offbeat creations like 'caveman kebabs' and 'meatzza' patties, as well as more standard wraps and soups, all for under DKK 70. There's not too much for vegetarians besides the soups, though the unusual fresh-pressed juice blends include parsley, yellow bell pepper and apple and strawberry, red bell pepper and carrot.
