1655 Copenhagen, Denmark
Shezan can boast of being the first Pakistani restaurant in Denmark. And while Vesterbro may have had a facelift over the last few years, Shezan remains defiantly the same as it did a decade ago; with a basic, functional decor, plain tables and a broad selection of cheap and firey curries—including plenty of vegetarian dishes—ranging in price from DKK 65 up to DKK 150, with most around DKK 90. Rice, naan and dips cost extra. Authentic Asian food with no fancy frills.
