A New Albanian Brewing Company gastropub, Bank Street Brewhouse is worth a trip across the river. Housed in a former bakery outlet store (the garage doors are opened in good weather), Bank Street offers nightly specials like $2 pints on Tuesdays and Bring Your Own Growler for $6 refills (brewer's choice) on Wednesday. Sunday brunch includes a Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary bar, where you get the Hangar One Vodka and choose your herbs, spices, garnishes and hot sauce. Chef Joshua Lehman's meals feature local ingredients and sauces like lavender syrup, pesto, curry and rouille accompany the frites (new sauces are on the way). Between lunch and dinner on the weekend and before the kitchen opens around 5:30 during the week, you can munch on snacks and appetizers during "Brotzeit."
