Always bustling with locals and tourists, Don Rufino's is the spot to eat right in the center of Golfito. Families with kids, solo travelers, and local Costa Ricans fill up the place for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the bar stays open til 2am most nights. The pollo al estilo de la abuela (Grandma's chicken), served wrapped in banana leaves, is a favorite of many diners both old and young, but the cuts of meat are a wise bet, too. Basically, you can't go wrong at Don Rufino's and it would be a shame to miss out on this best little restaurant in town.
