Mineral Beach lies 15 km north of Ein Gedi--no more than a 45-minute drive from Jerusalem on the shores of the Dead Sea.  This is the place to come for a day get-away from the city and its stress. Mineral Beach offers a nice private beach area, complete with beachside chairs, shade, a cafeteria and clean showers.  There's plenty of free mineral-rich dead Sea mud on hand at the waterfront and a natural sulfur pool that's a constant hot 39 degrees C to relax in. 

The Mineral Spa offers a variety of massage treatments to get you even more relaxed.  The Beach is open from Sun-Wed: 9 a.m-6p.m: Th: 9 a.m-9 p.m and Fri, Sat between 8 a. m-6 p.m.  Excellent bus service from Jerusalem's Central Bus Station.
