Description:
Denver isn't a city that has a large number of old-school culinary institutions; it's a place where restaurants have signs reading "Since 2004" without a trace of irony. M&D's, on the other hand, is a third-generation family-run restaurant that was founded in 1977. The menu changes regularly, although on any given day some variation on ribs, catfish, and pulled pork are bound to be on it. Furthermore, if the name "M&D''s BBQ Cafe and Fish Palace" doesn't make you want to eat there, you probably don't like barbecue. It is also quite possibly the only place in Denver where you can get fried green tomatoes, deep-fried buffalo, and yams all in the same meal.
