Listen up carefully as there's a gag a minute and you have to be pretty quick to get them all!

Description:

There are several bus tours that show you the sights of Dublin and, for a different perspective,  there are river tours too, but this one does asphalt and water, and it's also the only tour where you get to roar at unsuspecting "Celts" en route! Your "big yellow taxi" for the ride is actually a 60-year old DUKW ("duck"), once used for transporting soldiers and equipment during World War II. Today it transports "Vikings" - ie tourists (you) with Viking helmets on, through the streets of Dublin. Viewed from the street, you do of course look ridiculous. But, cajoled, encouraged and above all entertained by your driver/guide you soon get into the swing of things. Indeed any one without a Viking helmet (provided!) will soon feel pretty left out! The tour which takes in the whole city centre is both educational and entertaining and the best bit - splashdown in the Grand Canal Dock, is left almost to the end. Here you'll see the U2 recording studios and stunning new state-of-the-art architecture.

Tours departs at 10am and with the final tour departing as late as 5:30pm.  Tours run roughly every 30 minutes during peak times and every 90 minutes off peak. Call or see website to check tour times especially off-peak.
