NileGuide Expert tip:
Booking advised even on Weekdays! The nan bread is raved about by many, thin and light and very "moresome". Only objective complaint I've heard is that portion sizes are a touch small!
This restaurant sits opposite city halls in the heart of the trendy Merchant City. A great location for pre theatre dining, if going to City Halls or Old Fruitmarket! It has a warm and inviting atmosphere. As you enter you will be engulfed by the warmth of this Indian gem. Partly due to the rich colours, textures and aromas (provokes memories of mystical times from Alexander the Great to Lawrence of Arabia), the
friendly staff and
the rich aromas, of mouth watering Indian classics with a Persian twist!
KoolBa, is the only restaurant in Scotland to serve Indian and Persian food. Their dishes are all made using fresh, locally sourced, Scottish produce. This coupled with their award winning wine list creates a unique and highly memorable dining experience!
