Starlight Mountain Theater is exactly what it says it is. Located out in the mountains in the aptly named Garden Valley, the theater performs summer stock stand-byes such as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Annie Get Your Gun, Cinderella, and the like.This really is mountain theater. You sit on large benches, kind of like giant bleachers. The backstage area is virtually non-existent. One time when a thunderstorm burst out, the actors stopped the action, brought the audience all into the tiny backstage shacks, and when the storm passed, we took our seats and the cast resumed their show.
But the music and the acting are excellent, and the setting is unbeatable.
