Description:

The Boise Public Library is easy to spot. Its sign on the building's exterior says LIBRARY! Yes, with an exclamation point. This is the hub of the library system, which now has several branch libraries throughout Boise. At this main library, patrons have access to a large adult fiction section, flanked by a huge reading room with magazines and newspapers. Across the aisle is a large collection of audio and video recordings to check out. The teen fiction section is always busy, as is the children's section, which has computers just for the pint-sized crowd where they can play games while parents browse. Upstairs is the non-fiction holdings, which are just as busy and bustling as the downstairs. Meeting rooms are available for the public.
