It is the same TGI Friday's that you may know off from the States -only slightly more upscale. When Friday's was opened for the first time in its Etiler place in Istanbul, it was a huge thing for the Istanbulites. Ladies dressed up in their fancy clothes and gentlemen put together their ties and belts and arrived for a fine dining experience at Friday's. Over the years, Friday's did lose its "fine" touch and has become a place that is conceived as casual and American. It is still a lot of fun to stop by here after work for a couple of drinks at the bar with friends or to share a huge Cajun Chicken Fingers with a huge Long Beach Ice Tea. I personally never consider a meal finished at Friday's without the Mocha Mud Pie.
