Description:

The Great Synagogue on King George Street, one of Jerusalem's most grand places of worship, hosts a special festive Sabbath morning prayer service in honor of the 44th anniversary of the liberation and reunification of Jerusalem that took place during the 1967 Six Day War.

Special prayers will be recited, beginning at 7:55 a.m, in the presence of Mayor Nir Barkat.  The service will be led by renowned cantor Chaim Adler accompanied by the Great Synagogue Choir.

After the service, join in a kiddush reception in the synagogue's social hall and rub shoulders with Jerusalem's elite.
