Are you an Elvis fan? If so, then "Viva Elvis," Cirque du Soleil's show at Aria, is the right Cirque show for you. The story of the King's life is set to his music, and while you'll still see the acrobatics associated with a Cirque show, "Viva Elvis" is more of a stage spectacle than a feat of human contortion.Pictures and videos of Elvis accompany his songs, which even non-Elvis fans will recognize. "Viva Las Vegas" features a stage full of showgirls, and "Jail House Rock" uses a set reminiscent of the movie.
Children 5 and up may attend, although anyone too young to understand the association between the songs and the performer may not appreciate the show. Cirque fans who are looking forward to a show full of amazing physical feats will find "Viva Elvis" has more dancing than other shows.
Prices start at about $75.00. The show is dark on Mondays and some Sundays.
