A modest kids' menu is available and there are some vegetarian choices, too.

NileGuide Expert tip:

Note the little red time-bomb symbols next to the listed dishes. The more there are, the stronger the chili.

Description:

Amber, lilac, crimson, marigold… this has to be one of Lisbon's most colourful restaurant interiors. The bright, brash paintwork positively glows and imbues the place with a warmth and vitality typical of the Latin American temperament. The walls are decorated with filigree ironwork and Atzec motifs – indigenous handicraft that further enlivens the atmosphere. The hues match the food: hot, spicy and decadent. Casa México has been serving authentic Mexican cuisine since 1994 and enjoys a loyal clientele. The menu trumpets Mexico's culinary tradition. They are all here – nachos, enchiladas, burritos and tacos. Beef and chicken dishes feature heavily, but the kitchen also rustles up delicious prawn-based options. There are even a couple of vegetarian choices. That good old Tex-Mex standby chilli con carne is served extra hot and is best diluted with a bottle of Mexican beer. But you might want to sample one of their Margaritas first. © NileGuide20011

The best Mexican food, like the Enchiladas, the Tacos or the Burritos, Casa México has it all. The decor follows a typical Mexican style, simple, but still very charming for all those that love the Central American culture. The prices are very reasonable.
