Here's what Trippy members say about The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA:

"I also loved LACMA The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA and the The Getty Center We rented bikes and cycled from Venice Beach Boardwalk to Santa Monica which was fab."  See More

"Hi, I would have to agree with Evi's suggestions! There are some that may overlap so bear with me: Venice Beach and Boardwalk- fun place to walk around and see the street performers and local vendors, muscle beach is there as well and sometimes they have entertaining competitions and such. This is definitely a day thing. Third Street Promenade - this is more of an evening thing if you want to see the street performers and get some shopping done along the way. It's a great place to people watch an walk around. The Grove While the selection of shopping isn't my favorite (which is good since you aren't looking to spend money), this is a fun place to people watch as well, you can pick a bench and grab an ice cream, participate in a free yoga class (or whatever is the class of the day - on the center lawn), you can hop on the trolley and ride to the other side of the mall to go to the Farmers Market which I'm sure will keep you entertained for a while. They have all kinds of food and things for sale. Hike any of the Hollywood HillsRunyon Canyon Park gives you a great view. The Griffith Observatory is a great place to see the city, you can walk around for free and take in the city, parking is also free! Taking a drive down Mulholland Drive offers free views of the city and a great drive. You can get tickets to see live tapings of your favorite shows. You can check out my answer to another Trippy member for details on how to order these tickets: "  See More

"com for discounted tickets), if you're here on a Sunday check out the Melrose Trading Post vintage market, The Grammy Museum and The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA downtown are two more great museums, and if you find yourself on the west side, walk, shop and eat on Abbot Kinney Blvd or Third Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Pier."  See More

"From there make sure explore more grungy and truly unique places on the east part of DTLA which most tourists never see, like the The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Little Tokyo, The Original Los Angeles Flower Market, the toy district, Los Angeles Arts District, Santee Alley."  See More

"There are a couple of art museums like Museum of Comtemparary Art and The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, Little Tokyo, Los Angeles Chinatown, great restaurants, the Fashion District / Santee Alley as well as the burgeoning fashion hub with its axis at 9th and Broadway."  See More
