The supporters also have a proud Italian history, due to the influx of migrants to the Carlton area in the 1950s. They have won the equal most premierships of any team with 16, which their biggest rival Collingwood, can't stand. games between these two teams regularly reach 90,000 spectators. Carlton's current captain is Chris Judd and is widely considered one of the best players to have played the game.
