Day 1 - Melbourne

The Prince is almost a destination in itself and you won’t regret staying in for your first night in Melbourne. Be sure to book a package deal to take full advantage of the Aurora Retreat – being smothered in honey, chamomile and essential oils whilst your worries are massaged away is sure to build an appetite. Roll out of your bathrobe and into Circa, for an award winning dining experience. Best of all, your room is right upstairs so you needn’t worry how many bottles you open.

Day 2 - Melbourne

Grab your loved one and head to the hills. TarraWarra Estate in the tranquil Yarra Valley offers boutique dining and wine tasting nestled among the vines. The adjoining TarraWarra Museum of Modern Art exhibits modern Australian works, but just peering out the back window is a masterpiece in itself. It’s best if you’ve got your own wheels in order to stop off at local wineries and dairies on your way home. Be sure to pick up enough delicious goodies for a picnic at the Moonlight Cinemas in the evening. It’s an easy tram ride into the city for some superior attention to detail at the Melbourne Supper Club. The night is yours as you’re treated like royalty as you and your loved one melt into the chesterfield as other patrons appear to disappear into the wallpaper.

Mosey down to Il Fornaio for some leisurely artisan baked goods to soak up the previous evening’s wine. With breakfast served till the early afternoon, you can afford that sleep-in. Tram up to The Arts Centre and catch a matinee session by the Melbourne Theatre Company before your late afternoon sea change. The Mornington Peninsular provides Melbournians with an easy beach getaway. Don’t forget your togs for a splash at Portsea’s front beach and dry off with some Fish & Chips on the pier as the sun sets.
