If coming to Mexico City so you can go to an English pub and eat fish and chips and drink Belgian beer is your thing, you will absolutely love Celtics Pub. It is in the heart of Condesa neighborhood and is mostly patronized by office workers from the nearby businesses and it fills up early, seven or eight pm during the week.

Music is very loud and it steers mostly towards rock, American and European. Don't expect to have a nice quiet conversation here, you can barely hear yourself but if you want to experience where Mexican rising executives go to wind down after a hard day's work, this is it.

There is no cover charge, and if it's full you will be put on a waiting list and seated as soon as your turn comes up. They are very organized in this sense, definitely their English influence.
