Description:

There's nothing better than smelling the scent of fresh flowers and herbs after a rough winter season. Stop by the Boerner Botanical Gardens during spring and summer for a stroll through the beautiful gardens.

On a Saturday or Sunday, you'll often see a bridal party posing amid the colorful plants or a wedding in the middle of a green pasture.

Here, there are many gardens to stroll through: annual, perennial, rose, and herb gardens. In addition, there are day lily and bog paths, a rock and peony garden, and a number of sculptures displayed throughout.

If you would rather have company on your walk, consider joining a guided garden tour. There are many events held throughout the year at the Gardens, check the website for up to date information.

If you enjoy eating while surrounded by the beauty of the gardens, consider meeting friends for brunch. Sunday brunch is served year round between 10:30-2:00PM. The cost is $21.95 for adults and $10.95 for children ages 3-12.
