Description:

Let's be 100% honest here. The food at Bistro Boris is ok. A little too costly, and a little too pretentious, and they are not kid-friendly even having restricted hours and areas where children are allowed. But that being said, Bistro Boris has the best terrace in the city. This is a lush oasis where once can sip a drink and watch the city in the background while ensconced in a space full of lively chatter, vibrant plants and a deep sense of history. The terrace is just off the main Old Montreal street, McGill, but separated from it by a massive wall. It's the façade of a building that once occupied that very same patio, painstakingly preserved and now serving to shelter and envelope you while taking a break from running around, sight-seeing, and enjoying Montréal to its fullest. It would be hard to not enjoy this space in the Spring or Summertime in Montreal, sitting in the shade and watching the hustle and bustle parade go by. And with your drinks be sure to have a few appetizers, that can be matched to your wine or beer of choice, a great Caponata and Fazzoletti, or some Gravlax would be an ideal little snack to enjoy your stay at Bistro Boris.
