The price are great, and the kitchen serves an inventive take on Quebecois country food with a modern twist, and always tasty. The menu is highlighted with bold items like; Ragout de Escargot, Duck Ravioli, Bison Ribs and rabbit--- there is a lot of rabbit at Au Chaud Lapin-- kidneys, roasted, stuffed with mushrooms, smothered in celeriac cheddar and asparagus sauce. There is a $19 table d'hôte includes daily soup, salad, and either the BBQ duck wings, rabbit kidneys, or Maple Quayle Legs.
