The two locations of Juan's Flying Burrito (known to locals as just "Juan's") have different atmospheres but all the same great food. The first location is a narrow restaurant on a hip section of Magazine Street. Decorated with band posters and funky art, and often playing rowdy rock n roll, this is where the cool kids go. Tattooed servers bring patrons cans of $2 PBR, pitchers of margaritas, and enormous burritos with names like "The Gutter Punk." In Mid-City, the Juan's is larger and less grungy with a more family-oriented feel. Both locations serve awesome burritos, stuffed with goodies like jerk chicken, pork and pineapple salsa, or broccoli and roasted garlic. The famous Flying Burrito is packed with steak, shrimp, and chicken, two kinds of cheese, black beans, rice, salsa, sour cream, and guacamole! Juan's is a great place for vegetarians, and their fish tacos are the best in the city.
