Kahala/Diamond Head
The flat land of Kahala and beauty of Diamond Head and their closeness the beach and Waikiki make these two neighborhoods the most desirable on the island. The ocean/beachfront homes along Kahala Avenue are the most expensive on the island. You will often find runners and bikers around this area at all times of the day, taking in the spectacular view of the southeastern shores of Oahu from the cliffs at Diamond Head. Kahala Mall hosts a variety of mainstream stores as well as a Whole Foods and a theater that plays more independent, limited-release films.
