Waimanalo
Some of Oahu's best bodysurfing and body boarding spots can be found along the coastal stretch of Waimanalo's eastern shore. There is one major pro and one major con about Waimanalo's beaches: pro - privacy -- the beaches are unpopulated and comfortable; con - jellyfish -- there are always at least a few purple Portuguese man-of-war in the water that sting pretty bad if you're not careful.
